Faith is like a friend, comes in at the right time and gives us comfort when we need it the most. Too many times we find ourselves easily losing faith in; ourselves, jobs, families and even sometimes God. God loves us very much and it's very important, during this walk through life to have faith, even when we do not want to. The hands of God moves, by our simple act of faith, knowing God is in the midst never leaving us but always their showing us he is going to pull us through, despite how tough things may appear to be, God requires us to have faith in his ability. I recalled the other day, I was not working, had bills to pay and groceries to purchase, I knew I had no financial means of making it possible, but I had a ton load of faith in God and in his ability to provide. I remembered opening my empty grocery cupboards and began thanking God for filling them with tons of food, as I began to do this tears of joy rolled down my face, I knew although my food cupboards appeared empty, my small mustard seed of faith was enough to move this mountain of lack from within my midst. As the days went by, I knew God would provide, for his word said he will never let his righteous be forsaken nor his seed begging bread. I began to see the mighty hands of God work in my situation as family members and friends began giving me money, without me even asking for the funds, it was as if they had known my struggle without me even mentioning a word to them, all I kept saying, my God will supply all of my needs. In my darkest moments of lack, I never gave up the more the financial pressures came, the more I held unto God, giving him advance praises, standing proudly and boasting of his word knowing his words will never go back to him void. There was an innate joy in which I felt when I demonstrated acts of faith in the ability of God, I knew as a believer of God's word not only was I required to read the word, but I had to believe it and apply it in my every day life, enabling me to be strengthened knowing Gods ability to pull me through difficult situations. Faith is very important to have in our walk with Christ, this act not only shows God we believe in him, but it also shows those around us, his existence and ability to help us through. Faith changes us, it changes the way in which we view situations. In the past before I was blessed to have the understanding of faith, worrying came very easily, each situation became a major concern, whlist at the same time creating frustrations, when I was introduced to faith all of my worrying left, it was as if a burden was removed from my life. I felt peaceful knowing God was there ready and willing to assist me in every aspect of my life and all it required was me simply demonstrating acts of faith. Too many times, we begin to worry when things fail to go in accordance to our plans, but sometimes we have to recognize God is there for us, to ease our burden to make things lighter in our lives, all we simply need to do is step back and allow God to step in and work things out. For me when my finances were not available, I had to place complete faith in God, from the food in which I ate, to placing gas in my car,I had to trust God and know he will provide for me, no matter what I was facing. God opened doors and made impossible ways possible, showed me he was God, mighty and able to do the impossible, removing tough situations with simple ones, whilst at the same time creating a sense of comfort and assurance in his ability to provide for me. Having faith is very powerful, it's not about vocalizing it, rather it's about action, when we say we have faith and unfortunate situations pop into our lives, this is where our faith kicks into action. Knowing although things may look tough right now, it's only for a while, things will get better. This is how faith works, it's a powerful tool which requires us to use it in a practical way. God loves it when we can apply our faith into tough situations, these acts shows God we believe in his existence and in his ability to pull us through, despite the difficulties in which we face. The more faith applied, the stronger our trust becomes in God. Our faith becomes contagious as others are able to catch it by observing the ways in which we apply it into our daily lives. Faith moves mountains others around us are unable to move. Faith gives God a chance to show up and show off. Strengthening our bond with him as we are able see his amazing power in our lives. Having faith draws us closer to the word of God which helps us to stand firm and strong on the promises of God. For his promises are the truth and helpful in maintaining our faith. Each day when I am faced with tough experiences, my faith keeps me grounded, knowing I have something very powerful to hold unto, despite my situations. The tougher my situation the stronger my faith becomes in God's mighty and reassuring ability to pull me through. I amThankful for having faith in God.
