Life leaves us with many tags, some of which we cherish, some that we actually don't belong to, some which we wish to shed off. Of all the tags stuck to me, I love the one that says 'writer'.
I began to write since I was ten. Moral stories, plays, poetry, quotes, novel, random scribbling, I have loved them all. Though I had a vision of who I wanted to be, I had to become an engineer just like every other young middle class Indian student.
But I believe that there was a purpose in those soul-wrenching four years of engineering when I wanted to fly out of that cage and pursue writing. My life experiences have added to the depth of the emotions I pour out as words, which is why I use the hashtag #jencyspilledfromsoul in all my writing.
After trying my hands in an IT sector, I became a teacher standing before a group of little kids encouraging them to be who they want to be. I am enjoying it now. My thirst for writing hasn't been quenched yet and I am still writing.
