Today, despite the continued presence of smoke in the air, despite the warning for people to stay indoors, I chose to drive to Mt Rainier National Park and hike to Silver Falls. I made sure to take plenty of water to drink (I actually took more than I drank while out.). This trip was close to 76 miles and according to my GPS map function on my phone would take 2 hours and 8 minutes. Round trip would therefore be 152 miles about, take close to 4 hours and 15 minutes, plus my time hiking to the falls. On this trip I took just over 70 photos and three videos. Since I've never gotten a video to successfully load, I'll select one of my favorite photos from this day trip.
