NIESBUD Solar ESDP at JSS Nashik: Shreekant Patil leads 3 day workshop for solar entrepreneurs under PM Surya Ghar – Muft Bijli Yojana. Nashik, Maharashtra – March 30, 2026 –A capacity building - Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme (ESDP) on Solar Entrepreneurship was successfully organized at JSS Nashik – Jan Shikshan Sanstha from March 24 to April 1, 2026, under the aegis of NIESBUD – The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. The program forms part of the PM Surya Ghar – Muft Bijli Yojana Training & Capacity Building initiative, which aims to build capacity and entrepreneurship in the solar energy sector. From March 24th to 26th,2026, the participants attended foundational sessions on entrepreneurial motivation, risk taking behaviour, goal setting for enterprise development, business opportunity identification, and the government support ecosystem, including subsidy schemes and Udyam registration. These sessions are designed to help aspirant entrepreneurs in solar energy across the Nashik district translate their interest into viable, bankable ventures. As a key highlight of the ESDP, CEng. Shreekant Patil, an experienced successful entrepreneur, mentor & certified master trainer at NSDC (Skill India- Govt of India), and renowned Startup India Mentor (TEJAS), was felicitated by Mr. Rahul Takare, Director of JSS Nashik. Shreekant Patil conducted a 3 day, full day training workshop for more than 30 participants from various cities and villages in the Nashik district. Shreekant Patil empowered 25 SC-ST women in a DFO-MSME-backed Nashik workshop on bakery, entrepreneurship, digital marketing & govt support schemes. Nashik, September 10, 2025: A full-day workshop on bakery entrepreneurship for SC-ST category women was conducted by entrepreneur and mentor Shreekant Patil, sponsored by DFO- MSME, Mumbai, on September 19th from 10 AM to 5 PM at Shrinath Hall, Sri Ravi Shankar Marg, Near Green Pharma Medical, Nashik. The workshop witnessed active participation from over 25 women enrolled in the 30-days from August 18th to September 24th, government-supported bakery training program aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs. CEng. Shreekant Patil emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship, Udyam registration, government subsidy schemes, and small business establishment in the bakery sector. He guided participants on leveraging digital footprints, digital marketing, social media promotions, MSME Mart by NSIC, ONDC platforms, and creating small business websites to grow their ventures. Shreekant Patil, MACCIA, NIMA committee chairman, a renowned trainer, mentor, and consultant specializing in MSMEs, Startups, and exports, successfully conducted a training workshop under the Capacity Building Residential Entrepreneurship Development Programme (REDP) for SC-ST communities from North Maharashtra with MCED Nashik. The workshop, aimed at empowering men and women with the knowledge required to establish and grow their own businesses, took place on July 11th, 2025, at Khadi India – Khadi Gramodyog, Trambak Vidya Mandir, Nashik (Govt. of India). The workshop was organized by the Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED) Nashik, with support from the District Industries Centre (DIC) Nashik. The session underscored the importance of building sustainable businesses in rural and semi-urban areas and how the government's various schemes can significantly aid these initiatives. Maharashtra Government Industries Directorate, Mumbai, sponsored and organized by the Maharashtra Entrepreneurship Development Centre (MCED) with DIC Nashik, and in collaboration with the Maharashtra Entrepreneurship Trade and Investment Facilitation Cell (MAITRI), Mumbai, conducted the Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Special Group Promotion Scheme. The 45-days free Residential Entrepreneurship Development Program was held for SC-ST communities from June 10 to July 25, 2025. The day-long workshop was divided into two sessions; each focused on different aspects of entrepreneurship and MSME development. The first session, which ran from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, was specifically tailored for women participants. This session covered essential topics, such as setting up Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the support mechanisms available for MSMEs, and the process of obtaining the ZED (Zero Defect, Zero Effect) Certification. During this session, Shreekant Patil elaborated on the Stand-Up India Scheme, emphasizing how women entrepreneurs can benefit from government support and funding to establish and grow their businesses. Shreekant Patil stressed his commitment to empowering women by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to achieve business success. The second session, held from 2:15 PM to 6:00 PM, was open to all participants and focused on the Start-Up and Stand-Up India Schemes, along with government support available for entrepreneurs. The session also covered the steps involved in setting up successful startups. A total over 80 enthusiastic participants from Nashik, Dhule, Nandurbar, and Jalgaon attended the sessions, with an exceptional level of women participation. The active involvement of women in both sessions showcased their eagerness to learn and engage in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Both sessions concluded with a Question & Answer segment, allowing the participants to clarify doubts and gain personalized advice.
