I stopped between Puyallup and Tacoma, WA at the 66th street bridge over the Puyallup River to capture some photos of Mt Rainier. It was close to sunset and there was some evening color near the horizon. I was on my way home and had only 12 miles to go. I didn't want to wait for it to get darker, so I underexposed a couple of pictures to simulate what it might look like in another 15 to 20 minutes. I was exercising artistic license. How often do we choose to misrepresent time to make ourselves or others appear older or younger than is really the case?
