Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Rabbi was ordained by the former Chief Rabbi of Haifa, Rav She'ar Yashuv Cohen Z"L, Rabbi Levy Weinberg of Machon LeHoraah, and Rabbi Gedaliah Warhaftig of Machon Ariel in Jerusalem. Additionally, he has completed degrees in science, medicine, film and education. Rabbi Welton is proud member of the Rabbinical Council of America.
Currently, Rabbi Welton is a freelance journalist and writer living in New York City. Married to a beautiful medical student, he is also Captain in the United States Air Force, the spiritual leader of the Lincoln Park Jewish Center in Westchester and a medical clinician working with low-income patients in the Bronx.
