What is it like to loose a friend, stranded 600 miles away? To you, its like pulling away a memory away with a magnet, but to me, it's like taking the director halfway out of a movie. Before he left, you were so happy and excited you got the part. You were there, with the scene playing out, and then everything you think was going to happen becomes lost. The next couple of scenes are blurry until it become clear again. Before you know it you're stuck in rewind, trying desperately to relive those scenes in the directors presence. Now, you're trying to imagine what they would do next. You've never felt this lost feeling before. You're just left to ponder how they would react to what you're thinking about. Sometimes seeing the smallest thing reminds you of them, kind of like a trigger. From there it leaves you holding these memories with a broken bucket, for these memories turn into tears. You're stuck there looking at this object, until someone taps your shoulder saying "what are you looking at?" Usually your comment is "nothing" or "just, yanno starring off into space." It helps vacate your mind sometimes. Other times you have to hold back these feelings because no one will understand. People tell you all the time "come back, we miss you!" and ask "when are you visiting?" It started off making matters worse, for its makes you want to go back home and see them. Now you have a life here. Therefor it becomes numb. Another problem you phase is getting the right person to talk to. You are in a new environment. You go to a tiny private school. You left those you love, they won't understand; for the one-hundredth time "It was your choice." That phrase can't stop rolling around in your head. Now you're stuck. The director burnt the lines and the directions before he left. The lines are gone, especially because there is no one to recite them to. Wait, but what are the directions. Directions don't have one answer. You begin to realize that you're going in a circle. One direction, ever since you've been gone. It's time to change, pick your direction...
