I was born and raised in San Diego. I used to teach English as a Second Language, but after several years of corporate nonsense, I decided to use my English skills in a more productive and impactful way. Just 4 months ago, my wife and I moved to Portland to live a more meaningful and sustainable lifestyle. We have been incredibly successful at achieving this goal.
We barely drive, we walk everyday, and have made huge efforts to eat a more plant-based diet. We are incredibly lucky to have each other and firmly believe that we deserve the life that we have created for ourselves. We express our gratitude regularly by giving back to the community and doing what we can to help others who are less fortunate. Unlike our president, compassion is a value we hold dearly.
