The enouragement of learning a certain type of subject has become even more complex than ever before. The theme of implementing the right system towards effective learning is controversial. But the question is whether there is any role of physchological approach in assisting students to get better in their studies. So, operant conditioning can be the best way to answer this issue. Firstly, the framework of the right educational system is on the center of debate. This, in fact, led to scientific research, which defines the importance of physchology in education. To clarify, by two types of reinforcement and punishment, students' unwanted behaviors could be either promoted or inhibited. If the former is aimed at school, prize and award can be a trigger to push students forward in a way of behaving. As an example,if a student raises his or her hand to answer a question and complimented by a teacher, this action is likely to happen in the future. The next time a student might be encouraged to do the same when the time he was approved springs to his mind. Thus, the past habits may remind children of certain consequences that may either be supported or punished, depending on the outcome that they take. A further example can be seen in the reverse situation. When a child is punished for breaking a plate or doing something wrong, then the next time, the previous punishment may inhibit a child from doing this activity again. The same could apply for teaching techniques. Some teachers might struggle to help students get involved in group activities such as peer-to-peer discussion . Because some pupils can not easily speak their mind as if someone would judge them for giving the wrong idea. This might be the cause of negative punishment that used to be given by parents who could say, "Do this, don't do that." In consequence, a child's development is likely to be affected by always being under the control of 'does and don'ts." A child who is positively reinforced ,however, often feels self-assured , being able to express ideas in freedom. Yet, putting restraints on a pupil's every activity may not teach them something useful but rather makes them feel afraid of being proactive at teamwork. Secondly, we can understand that there is a clear correlation between a student's academic achievement and their past habits depending on their environment. So, it is questioned how fast a child's memory can remind any situation? It can be more than we thought. As a child grows up, the process of gaining knowledge is also improved in leaps and bounds. They can not only learn at school but also from a community that they live in. So, different outcomes can result in varuous circumstances. For instance, in a society in which reading a book is encouraged , children may also adapt to such habits by seeing others doing the same. Living with game lovers, though, might reinforce a child to play online games. Because sometimes who we are can be defined from whom we stay with. Therefore, only the right training may not be enough to raise knowledgeable children, but rather, the environmental effects should also be considered . To conclude, although the role of the right teaching system is carried out by teachers, often it is our environment and the consequences of previous habits which lead us to behave in a way we do.
