My winner - my dad

Today is his first working day and we are indescribably happy with all our family members. Because we waited for this day for 9 years and thank God we managed to see this day. My mother and even my father are struggling to cope. Because it was not easy to reach this day, especially for my poor mother. Only my mother put up with all my father's whims and even the words that came out of his mouth when he felt very bad. The summer months of 2007... The period of the biggest loss for our family - my little 2-year-old brother died suddenly due to a stroke. The most valuable blessing for parents is a child. Until then, I thought that the person who suffers the most from the death of a child is the mother, but I was wrong, as in such cases, both father and mother suffer equally. Despite being a man, my father shed many tears. At that time, my father began to show signs of some illness. For example, he became irritable or agitated at times, and sometimes his arms would shake. We didn't take it seriously then. Years have passed since then. 2015 was also very difficult for my father. That unknown illness was at its peak and he had difficulty coming to work. Sometimes he screamed because he was in trouble. But the doctors could not give an accurate diagnosis. It became difficult for him not only to work, but also to fulfill his basic needs, in which my mother became his main helper. Sometimes my mother would even change his clothes and put on his shoes, because his legs and arms would not work well. Our whole family was heartbroken to see him and felt sorry for him. He loved his profession, but his colleagues had a strange attitude towards him. He was a proud owner of a profession - a military man, and of course physical health is the first priority in this profession. Because of this, he was forced to resign. But my father never wanted to give up his work, because there were two reasons that kept him there: his love and passion for his profession, and another was to support his children and family. But he had no choice. ...7 years have passed since then. In the meantime, his children - we grew up, my elder brother also graduated from the university and secretly sought a doctor from our father who could cure him because our father refused to go to the doctor for treatment because such fruitless attempts cost him his life. This time, my brother convinced him to undergo treatment. The doctor examined him, listened to his complaints and promised to find a cure for his illness no matter what (my father thought the doctor was just saying this to cheer him up). The doctor videotaped my dad in order to discuss his condition with other professors. This gave my father some hope. About 1 week later, the doctor diagnosed my father with Parkinson's and prescribed a treatment, saying that the cause of this disease was very strong fear and nervousness. My father followed this procedure diligently. After a month, the treatment began to show little effect. My father's health began to change for the better. 2,3,4...10 months have passed since then. Regular treatments and physical exercises gave a significant and surprising effect. Yes, my father got rid of the disease that he suffered for 15 years! It is unbelievable!.He won the fight! Currently, my father has no complaints about his health. Even when he was sick, he missed his profession and colleagues very much. If one of his colleagues called, he would talk for hours. He used to stare for a long time at the pictures of his student and working days (sometimes he cried inwardly out of pity and perhaps pain). After his recovery, he was able to return to work and today he is back on duty in the work clothes he loves. But to this day, my father still regrets why he did not seek other ways to treat this disease, why he succumbed so easily and wasted so many years of his life in unnecessary suffering... In life, people should never despair, they should fight as hard as they can, and should not be satisfied with the fight. That's the only way to achieve the result they long for, at least they won't regret trying...
