I felt anxious and depressed as if I had lost control of my life. I am now grateful to have recovered from COVID-19 and become healthy again. But the experience changed me, I'm still trying to understand. I understand more how fragile life is, how easily things can be taken away from us. And I have more empathy for other people who have had similar experiences - because now I know firsthand how hard it is.
