To Romania and back with dad

When you are a truck driver you have the chance to travel to a lot of different destinations, to places you probably haven't seen before and to meet people you haven't met before, but sometimes you have to take those journeys only by yourself. I'm Alex and I am going to tell you one of my travel adventures with my dad...who actually is the truck driver and I'll be in the role of a travel journal writer for you, who will share but in a shortened way the priceless experience abroad that we both had. It wasn't my father's first driving abroad and more especially – in Romania, but it was my very first and it really left me speechless. Not because it was my first travelling abroad but because of that county's incredible nature. It was a huge pleasure for me to see the beautiful green mountains and full of life expanse of the Romanian lands! Dad chose just that route on purpose – he wanted to show me the nature and the high villages in the country. The direction of his job-set final destination let us change the route and arrive in the same time that we would if we used the other driveway. It was the nice early morning on the 30th of July last year when I and my dad got in his truck. It was still dark and a bit of cold outside although it was in the summer, but it definitely worthed the early getting up. You know? I've been dreaming for a long time of this travel with dad to come and finally, my dream came true! I didn't care where in which country would we go but I wanted to go with dad; to be his company through the four days when he wouldn't be home and would be alone, only with the radio playing in the background of the way to his final destination; and sometimes the other drivers who call on the station. It was a lot of fun for me, maybe because I wasn't the driver or just because there was a lot of funny stuff going on, but looked like dad had fun as well and as much as I did. Romania is a very beautiful and exceptional country with fascinating nature and kind people – the ones I met and talked to. I'm thankful from my hometown and across galaxies that I had the opportunity to travel to that land or that I can travel to wherever! For the ending I would like to say that I'm not pretty sure if I wrote that for dad or the traveling experience I had, or the adventure I had with dad, but one is for sure – I enjoyed it and I will go again with dad wherever he goes…just to finish the school year. I can't wait until that day comes! I dedicate this first only to my dad and then to him and the adventures we are about to go on!
